Okinawa Job for non English native

Hi!
I'm already living in JP for a while and got a job and everything but I really would like to move to Okinawa sooner or later.
I've read that finding a Job there is pretty tough even for Japanese. Now that I'm German, there is no way that I can work for the MCCS but I'm wondering, what other options are left ...if any.

I think jobs in Okinawa are hard to come by. My friend had to wait a year before finding a job there, but he ended up not liking Okinawa so he wants to move back to the mainland.

I'm on the main land since a couple of years and starting not to like it. I have been to Okinawa many times therefor I'm aware of the living conditions there. I could afford buying another house there and renting my current one, still I would like to have a safe job before moving but that seems difficult.
