How is the maximum time for getting coe?

Hi everybody,
I dropped my coe application for specialist in humanities/international service visa category by 2nd September this year. But there is no result yet. Its getting almost 2 months. My question is that how many maximum time take to reply from immigration? is it maximum 3 months of more? If anybody know this answer, please inform me. I will be grateful to you

3 months is the max for most. if it's taken 2 months there is a possibility they are auditing your application which is causing it to move slowly.
you may want to make some phone calls and try to speed things along (politely)
