Looking for name of regional dessert 2010/10/29 18:24
It's reddish-brown, probably made from anko. It's a sticky, sweet substance, most likely served in the Kinki Region, primarily. It was originally meant to be eaten by two people (lovers). In the middle of the bowl there's either a pat of butter or an egg or something. I know, this message probably reads a bit loony, but I'd really like to know what this is, if anyone can help me out. I've never eaten this before in my life...

meoto zenzai? 2010/11/2 15:35
Is it Meoto Zenzai?

This cafe is in Osaka.
Meoto means a couple and zenzai is sweet red bean soup usually with mochi or sweetened chestnut.

...But I'm not so confident in my answer.
