I've attemped to translate the japanese version of a star is born (from hercules) into english. However, I would like to know if my translation is anywhere close to being accurate.
Here are the romanji lyrics:
Minna ni oshieyou. A star is born Minna de saa iwao. A star is born Saa utao HARERUYA Kare wa shining star Utao. Sawagou. A star is born. Hora ima yattekita. A star is born. Minna ga matteita (Sou machi no zonda A star is born) Kujikezu ganbareba itsuka kimi mo nareru sa HIRO Kibou to yume sutezu. Oozora miagete. Yozora no hoshi. Kirameku hoshi. SHIYANIN SUTAA A star is born A star is born
My translation:
Let's show everyone. A star is born. Everyone come now. A star is born. Come sing hallelujah. He is a shining star. Sing. Make noise. (Be excited) A star is born. Look now he's arrived. A star is born. Everyone waited. A star is born. Don't be depressed. (Discouraged) Persist. (Do your best) Someday it is possible for you to become a hero. So hope (wish) and never throw it away. Look up (raise your eyes) to see (admire) the sky. The night sky of stars. Twinkling stars. Shining star. A star is born.

First 2 lines, I'd put: Let everyone know. A star is born Come everyone, let's celebrate. A star is born
Everything else is more or less accurate unless you plan to make the English version into a song too, then you might need a little more work.
