Hi,
I know that there are some adverts for a Book Off member card or something like that.
Which purpose does the card have? Further discounts?
Can someone who is not living in Japan get such a card and use it?

Can't answer all of your questions but there are two things I know:
1. It doesn't cost anything (well it didn't in January 2010)
2. You need a Japanese address to have the card.
