Guitar stores and live music ?

I will be in the Nara and Osaka area.I'm sure there are night clubs with live music and stores that sell guitars and such, I'm just having a hard time finding the right places or sites online.
If anyone can email me a few links or information, that might help.
I'm into the blues jazz and metal genres, so any clubs in particular to this would be greatly appreciated.

some book off stores sell guitars and other instruments (second hand but in a pretty good condition)
