Transferring softbank contract

Hi guys,
I came to Japan a year ago and I signed up the iPhone white plan on a two year contract. I planned to stay for two years but things came up and I am leaving Japan in a month :(
I have heard it is very expensive to cancel a contract in Japan so I was wondering if I can transfer the contract to someone else to avoid the significant termination fee . How likely is it to transfer and what would be the process of doing this? Please help me out!

The termination fee is not that bad. Often, it works out cheaper to take a 2-year contract and cancel, than to take a one-year contract. The store clerk even suggested it to me.
As for transferring contracts, I have no idea. The best place to start would be asking Softbank themselves.
