Women cloth/accessories shop in Kyoto 2011/8/12 15:29
Hello,

I would like to buy few presents for my wife during my Kyoto visit. I am particularly interested in a silk scarf and comb(s) and maybe something else in typical to Kyoto colour patterns.

Can somebody suggest a place to look at?

I don't know how helpful it is, but Eirakuya is a very old company, making printed linen/cotton, bags, hankerchiefs, etc. We've bought a number of their cotton prints and framed them as wall art.

I recall there being a nice shop in Nishiki market that I bought a cotton hankerchief/towel at too.
