Japanese Restaurants in Singapore 2011/9/9 20:28
There is a similar topic posted in this forum regarding Japanese restaurants in Singapore, but they're all dated from 2009. I'm curious if new places have cropped up, and old places are still good.

I'm particularly interested in restaurants that Japanese visitors and ex-pat workers visit!

Suggest away, thanks!

Kuriya Penthouse, Mizu, Ginza Kuroson 2011/9/23 16:00
Hi there. I am a chef and my husband is a fishmonger. We are in Singapore for almost a year now. We are still going out to explore restaurants, but so far our favorites include Ginza Kuroson (great lunch for only S$20 at Robertson Quay), Mizu (I think at Tanjong Pagar?), Restaurant Suju (Mandarin Gallery), and the best of the best is Kuriya Penthouse. Also, Kuriya Dining.

As my husband is a fishmonger we don't go out for sushi but usually have sashimi at home so can't speak for those.

Check out Dr. Leslie Tay's blog as he covers Japanese too. I eat, I shoot, I post.
