Best place to buy fans in/near Tokyo? 2011/11/19 21:25
I'm looking to buy some traditional Japanese hand-held fans for members of my family (I'm from the UK, but currently living/working in Japan) - I'd like to spend somewhere around the 1000-2000yen range for each fan.

I've been told that Japanese department stores like Tokyo Hands are a good place to look - but does anyone know of any other places in/around Tokyo that'd be good to try?

Thanks,

Alex

I bought some lovely fans as gifts in Mitsukoshi the other day, but the cheapest fans there were probably 4,000Y.

If I were looking for a cheap fan, I would go to Asakusa - not Tokyu hands which often seems quite over priced.
