Hi,
In Tokyo do they do a day course or 2 of helicopter lessons and then with a professional go flying for a bit?
I am looking for a unquie gift for my bf for his birthday. Perferably a great experience. And something not so costly like 1000(Cad)+. A friend mentioned golf lessons and it's a possibility but I want to search more options.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Not that I know of. Try contacting Japan Aviation Academy in Kai City, Yamanashi. For less a very reasonable fee they will give you a basic aeronautical class and a short (about 15 minutes) flight on a motor glider. The area is very scenic with good view of Mt. Fuji, Mt. Yatsugatake and the Japan Alps.
