Rolls of Packaging Paper 2012/1/22 10:41
I am trying to find out where I can buy packaging paper (alternatively called "butcher paper" in the USA) which is often sold in rolls of several feet in tube form at office supply stores and used to wrap packages for shipment. I checked my local Tokyu Hands store (they don't carry it) and the online store for Staples Japan and Office Depot Japan also does not offer it. Any suggestions? I live in Shizuoka City and there doesn't seem much to chose from here.
Thanks

I think "Package Plaza" deals these products.
There are three Package Plaza shops in Shizuoka city.

1) Package Plaza Shizuoka Mimami(Suruga-ku)

If you see any stationery store in town, ask for "kurafuto-shi" (craft paper). In Japan they are sold in certain cut sizes, folded flat into a small packet, rather than in a big roll. If the size is not enough, you might want to try cardboard boxes available, for example, at your local post office?
