Skiing in April 2012/2/5 17:56
I am looking for a cool place to go skiing in early April.

- is it still worth to go so late in the season (snow conditions)?
- any good / cool places for a family of 4?
- Hokkaido I guess, would Nagano still be ok?

thanks for any insights

Early April is usually considered late season, but most resorts are still open and can have good snow depending on the region.

Sure, but what are your travel plans? Do you have experience, or would you need lessons? Will you be driving?

Both are great for skiing. But we'd need to know more about you to give a good recommendation.

Shigakogen in Nagano is open until early May.

Check this out.
