From Kawaguchiko Station:

weekends and holidays until end of November: 9:35
daily until end of October and on weekends and holidays in November: 10:10 11:00
daily until November 3: 11:10 12:00 13:00

From the 5th Station:

weekends and holidays until end of November: 11:15
daily until end of October and on weekends and holidays in November: 12:00 13:00
daily until November 3: 13:30 14:30 15:30

I guess you could take a taxi. Would probably cost around 10,000 Yen. Just guessing.

The bus station should be just next to the station.

Smthing else to ask. Is it true that in tokyo station there is a luggage storage where you can leave your stuff for 15days? And how much would it cost?

I think somebody mentioned something like that on this forum recently, so it proably exists. However, I have not seen or used it by myself.

buses from Takayama to Kamikochi 2004/9/14 14:35
because going to Fuji, I planned to go hiking a bit on the Japanese Alps. I have to reach Kamikochi from Takayama and I've read there are two buses that I can take. Unfortunately I don't manage to find the timetable...I know you can help me! Cheers

As I do not understand the Time table in Japanese, based on your interpretation, does it means that the bus to Kawaguchiko at 10.10 and 11.00 daily till October. And from 5th Station only 12.00 and 13.00? would appreciate it if you could clarify. thanks!

Explanations:

(1) on weekends and public holidays only from April 1 to November 30

(2) daily from April 29 to October 31; on weekends and public holidays only from November 1 to November 30

(3) daily from April 1 to November 3

Departures from the 5th Station:
11:30 (1)
12:30 (1)
13:30 (1)
14:30 (2)

(1) operates daily until November 4 and on weekends and national holidays in November

(2) operates daily until November 4
