Japanese phone message 2012/4/1 22:20
Been trying to call my boyfriend for the past couple of days now and I've just been getting an automated message ''deru wa something something'' and I don't know if it's saying operata osagashimasu. It will then ring as if I'm calling him but no voice mail picks up. I may be understanding the message wrong, but Id like to know what's it saying.
I hope it's not saying ''looking for an operator.'' -_-

Nope.
This one starts with a female voice and then starts ringing with no voice mail pick-up.

"Tsushin dekinai" = cannot communicate
"soushin dekinai" = cannot transmit

I cannot decipher the second one you have... can it be that you are dialing a number that is dedicated to data transmission, or connected also to a fax machine, and it is saying it cannot transmit, or something like that?

osageshimsu is a word in the message.

"osage shimasu" is like "(at a restaurant) I will clear away (your plates)." Can that be "osagashi shimasu"? That means "I will look for (something)."

It isn't osagashimasu.
I'm going to try to record it.

Okake ni natta denwa bangou ha, tsushin dekiru kiki nado ga setsuzoku sarete inaika, tsushin dekinai joutai no tame kakarimasen.

You cannot call this phone number, because the device(phone) that can communicate is not connected, or device state is unable to communicate.

What do both these messages mean? He turns off his phone? No reception? He lives in Niigata city now, just moved from Sendai.
