5k/10k Race

My boyfriend and I will be coming to Japan for the second time in September of this year. We will be there for about two weeks.

We are staying with my host family in Yokohama; however will be making trips to Tokyo and most likely Kyoto.

My boyfriend is an avid runner, and would like to enter a race while we are in Japan. Does anyone know how to find out about 5ks or 10ks going on? I've tried to google races, but I didn't really find much.

Any advice would be appreciated! : )

You can entry in 2 sites.
But there is no 5k/10k race in Tokyo or Kyoto on September.

It may be too early to entry.

I found only one race "Shiroisi-Zao hihgland marathon", butthe race is held in Miyagi prefecture Touhoku area.
