These two sentences
いいですね〜♪披露宴でピックアップしたいくらいです♪
...are written using both phonetic letters (each letter representing a syllable) and "characters" (each character represents a meaning too, in addition to of course having a sound). There are two sets of phonetic letters. And these are used in combination in our language.

I can write out the above two sentences in "romaji" Japanese - meaning, Romanized Japanese writing.

- Ii desu ne. Hirouen de pikku appu shitai kurai desu.

If I write them side by side:
いい です ね 〜♪
Ii desu ne

披露宴 で ピック アップ したい くらい です♪
Hirouen de pikku appu shitai kurai desu.

I assume you are a beginner student? You will come to understand the writing systems too - enjoy learning!
