What to buy in Japan 2012/4/24 14:37
I work at a thrift store and one of my regular customers who is an older Japanese lady mentioned she was going to visit home in about 4 years to visit family and offered to have me go along with her and stay at her relatives. It would be about a 2 month stay. A couple questions come to mind first is Japanese etiquette so I'm not inadvertently rude not sure where I can read up on that. Second is What should I buy while I'm there that would be a lot cheaper to buy there and bring back with me I'm a collector of retro video games and I'm wondering If I could find some things that I'd like for my collection that would be much cheaper there, like how you hear about Japanese buying jeans to take back home with them because they are so much cheaper here. Also whats the Japanese equivalent of eBay and craigs list. Along with that does anyone know of a web browser that I can use that will automatically translate Japanese web pages as I go? I guess that's the only questions I have at the moment I'm sure I'll have others. Thank you.
