hello,

i have read that it is possible to buy living insects (stag beetles ...) in japan from capsule machines. where is that possible?

I've seen one in a random arcade before... it was one of those giant claw grabbing machines. There were little boxes with huge beetles inside that you could try and win. I think you would have to come upon one of these machines by chance.

Btw, they're called kabutomushi. Maybe that could help you with your search.

I am against buying them.
When I was a kid, we used to have them fight each other. They are not cheap & die soon.
