There are numerous "100-yen shops" in Japan. "Daiso" would be one of the chains you might see in town. Do you have any specific location/area in mind?

Definitely check Hard-off, that is all used goods, and random and cheap. Lots of anime collectibles, kimonos, dishes, clothes, etc, etc, etc.
