Its ok to buy Yen in the Narita Airport or they usually have a worst exchange rate compared with other places?

What do you think is worth buying in Japan? Any sugestion?
The price of things like Asics shoes, Ipods, watches are comparable with the prices in USA?

Thank You

Narita Airport generally has a very good exchange rate for USD. I would recommend purchasing some yen there to get started, but you will get a slightly better rate by using a debit or credit card for most purchases. You can also use most US debit cards at postal and 7-11 atms to withdraw yen at very good rates.

Most brand name things tend to be the same price or slightly more expensive in Japan. Instead I would buy things that you can't get easily in the USA.
