Contax T2 35mm film camera 2012/8/1 23:35
I'm aware that Japan is the best place in the world to purchase discontinued older cameras. The shops there have refurbishing to perfection. Anyone know of a good shop I can purchase the CONTAX T2 camera? How much would they run?

You don't see them very often, but I recall seeing some for around 35000 yen. They're a little cheaper on auction, but you'll need a shopping service to help you purchase one, which bumps the price back up.

Frankly, you'll find similar ones cheaper in the US. Check out KEH, they have some listed in EX and EX+ condition for around $350 (about 20% cheaper than Japan), and they include a 6 month warranty on most used items.

If you do wish to purchase in Japan then Fujiya Camera in Nakano have two Contax T2 60th anniversary in stock at the moment (stock changes daily of course). Priced at 31,500 yen and 35,700 yen.
