Is it as easy to pick up the corner store plastic recycle $1 water bottles in Japan the kind you see everywhere here?

It is even easier in Japan than in British Columbia. Water bottles are widely available at convenience stores and vending machines. The cost will translate to slightly above $1, though. Usually 100-150 yen for 500 ml. Lager bottles are available at convenience stores.
