Translation question 2012/9/13 20:58
Hi all,

I just have a few questions and hope you can help me translating it:

1. I did dream of you. / I saw you in my dreams.
2. Did you dream of me? / Did you see me in your dreams?

I mean dreaming like while you're sleeping. ^^

This is nothing special, I was just thinking about those sentences without a reason... But I want to know it now... lol

Thanks in advance!
Have a good day!

I did dream of you.
あなたの夢を見た。( anata no yume wo mita )
I saw you in my dreams.
夢の中であなたを見た。( yume no naka de anata wo mita )
Did you dream of me?
私の夢を見た?( watashi no yume wo mita )
Did you see me in your dreams?
夢の中で私に会った? ( yume no naka de watashi ni atta )

BTW, There is a very famous song in Japan.
夢で逢えたら ( yume de aetara; if I see you in my dream )

Mh... So do I understand it right that "たら" is a form for "if"? ^_^

Yes, "...たら" is IF or WHEN, I study so.
And you can omit, "夢で" for "夢の中で".
Sorry, I can't explain by my poor English. orz

English version is here.
