How about walking around in nakamise, Asakusa?

Or solamachi-town under skytree?

There are many gift shops.

What's your budget? How about a furoshiki? A woman can do anything with fabric. Or if she likes to cook, get her some food material you found interesting while dining out. You can walk through supermarkets and you'll find both modern and traditional.

May I add somethings?

I recommend kitchenwares by Sori Yanagi.

Particularly I like his pasta tong (with holes).

It is really easy to use and beautiful. Sori Yanagi is one of the most popular industrial designer.
