Ninja-proof wall 2012/10/24 22:42
Hi --

Recently I saw a drama in which a single man accidentally locked himself out of his apartment building, so he tries to climb the wall. But it is smooth and so he cannot do it. In frustration, he says ____.

The subtitles said, "Ninja-proof wall!" It sounded like he said, "Shinobi ga kabe", maybe?

Does anyone know the word for "proof" in this context? Thank you.

If it started with "shinobi" (another word for "ninja") the only thing I can think of is "shinobi gaeshi (no kabe)" (ninja repellant/preventing wall).

Normally this word "shinobi gaeshi" is used to refer to fence guard - nails or spiky ornaments you plant on top of the wall so that no thief can climb over the wall - but for conciseness they might have used that word, I imagine.
