I have brought some electronic items online. As i am temporary visitor, is it possible to get my tax returned at the airport if i show the purchase receipts?

There are few retailers who operate on a tax-free basis and they only are the ones who can discount the tax from the price of the item. They affix the declaration on your passport so you can make it through the airport. The airport will not do any of this for you. Only the retailers who offer this service, usually for purchases of 10,000 yen or more will do so.
