Japanese language course in Tokyo?

Hi, I'll be living in Tokyo (Shinjuku-ku) until May 2013. Since I'm working with a foreign company, I don't need Japanese language skills for work, but nevertheless I'd like to improve my Japanese for everyday life. I do speak some Japanese and read Kana plus maybe 150 Kanji. Any suggestions for a language course that might fit my needs would be highly welcome. There are of course tons of language schools in Tokyo, but it seems they're mostly geared towards full-time language students or towards people staying in Japan for several years. Maybe you've been in a similar situation and could share your experience and ideas. Thanks.
