I need help with this naughty sentence.
こんな汚い所を舐めてるっていうのに。。。

Why does there need to be a "tte iu" at the end of the verb? What purpose does it serve?

Why not leave it as こんな汚い所を舐めてるのに。。。?

I'm unsure but...
To emphasize?
I feel "っていうのに" is more emotional like anger, sorrow, despair or something?
I think that rhythm is easy to put emotion to tell.

Depends on the context, but こんな汚い所を舐めてるのに。。。?sounds like it's the speaker who's licking.

ていうのに sounds like you are talking about someone else who's licking.
