My mother used to hum this song to me when I was little and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was. We found this music box that plays the song so I made a video of it. http://youtu.be/tN_0LRrEbUUThank you for any help!! Jen

Its Ue wo Miuite Aruko by Kyu Sakamoto. The song was popularized in the US by R&B group 4PM in the early 90's (retitled Sukiyaki with new English lyrics), and has also been covered by many other groups in many other languages.

I just read that the Taste of Honey cover was the one responsible for popularizing the song in English. Selena and Utada Hikaru also sing popular covers of this song.
