Hi! I was thinking of minoxidil medicine, if it is okay to bring this to japan for personal use. I think I have seen it sold as OTC medicine over there but not sure if it could be a problem bringing it as personal medicine.

it can be a prescription medication depending on the strength. 2 and 5% are generally available at pharmacies without a prescription but high strengths require one. but all strengths can be imported from overseas without a prescription.

I dont know what % I use but it says 20 mg/ml on the bottle. Could be 2 % then but I dont know for sure.
