COE processing times

Not yet received still waiting my employer said it will take 1 more month.

Applied as software engineer in Tokyo, for a small/medium company, on 2nd September.
On 14th Oct immigration asked if I�fd previously had CoE. (I�fd spent some time at language school in Japan on visa waiver, I explained this to my company but I don�ft know if they passed it on in the application)

Received approval for CoE yesterday, 2nd Nov.
61 days total/2 months exactly! And about 2 weeks after they asked for more information.

I�fm still waiting, hopefully soon. They asked me questions after one week of submission. My lawyer called again yesterday and they said is still being processed.
Anyone actually know what are the steps that the immigration bureau takes to examine if the applicant is qualified?

Submitted documents to employers - September 14th
Employer submitted documents - October 13th

I'm hoping to ideally move before the end of 2022, but not sure if that's 100% possible anymore. If I get the COE back before December 10th, it should still be possible for me. But let's wait and see.

July 23rd we signed the documents , we dont know what day they passed it to immigration. but let say they passed it by august first week . its the last week for october , but still no coe . not even heard any single word. 3month already. i begun to to panic

UPDATE: As of today no COE release. Applying for SSWV .

Just want to update you all:
Submitted my application by my company immigration lawyer on 17/10 at Kyoto immigration of bureau.
One week after on 25/10, immigration asked questions and we resubmitted documents the next day.
Today 10/11, my Hr informed me that my COE should be with them by 11/11 or early next week.

My startup visa COE application was sent to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government on 21 September after they approved my business plan. Still waiting 54 days later...

This thread is helping me keep my sanity with timeline approximations, even if not so many people here are doing the exact program I am doing. Thanks so much!

Just for info in case anyone else gets stressed like I did- after my CoE was approved, it took 7 working days for immigration to dispatch it by post to my company, with no news in the interim, so don�ft be surprised if you have a little bit of a wait inbetween approval and receiving the actual document!

My COE approved on 10/11 and I received my actual COE today in Hong Kong.
It just took 3 weeks for me to received my COE approval, including the time that immigration asked questions and us sending back the letter to them. Usually if there is no further questions, I guess COE granted around 1 week after they asked questions.
Hopefully this can help. Just try to distract yourself a bit while waiting cause I know the waiting pain.

Mine was requested 4 weeks ago, still nothing for the moment. Spouse visa.

4months of waiting. Agency told us that immigration has no updates so far from the moment they passed the documents. So frustrating😣

Hi guys, for reference:
Our company applied our coe at Tokyo immigration on August 19 and we got notified today that they have received our coe. 14 weeks/ 98 days in total and visa type is SSW. Hope this helps you, hoping for everyone to get their coe☺️

My company started the process with immigration on Oct 6th and today I heard that the visa is in it's last phase so I should have it soon.

It was about 7 weeks to hear back from immigration for me
