COE processing times

@Yawiiii Engineer visa type , Tokyo immigration.. My one was submitted Aug 23 before 2 weeks asked about more details and waiting to receive the COE.

I'm sorry, it seems my last message was sent twice ^^;

I finally got my coe on nov 15 it took 5 1/2 month so those who are still waiting hang in there it will come good luck everyone.

My COE been shipped today ! Is it been 4 weeks exactly. my school sended them the 31st november.
is it send by EMS

July nga kami nagpasa mam eh , di din namin alam bakit natagalan. wala naman daw balita sa immigration sa mga lacking documents pero ewan talaga bakit ang tagal.

Applying for spouse COE in Sendai. Submitted 10/04/22, request for more information a couple weeks later. Today is 12/5/2022, still waiting.

Fingers crossed we will receive before end of the year break. Want to be there in time for my daughter�fs elementary school entrance.

This thread has really helped me cope with the anxiety of waiting for so long! Thanks everyone for keeping us posted. Although, have to say that some of you have made it worse with your comments like "applied and got it in 3 weeks", with no extra info. As if bragging! My advice is - Please write your Visa types and/or the visa that you guys applied for and the dates (obviously) to make it more relevant!

In my case, I have the Engineer/Int Services visa and applied for the Dependent visa (for spouse) on August 2 (at Kawasaki branch), and exactly in 90 days (3 months) got a letter asking for additional documents (salary info). Oh btw, I applied by myself, no lawyers or workplace involved.

Today, when I called the immigration office to check the status, they said that they've sent it out already.

I have never been contacted by the immigration nor my company throughout the whole process. I've called them like a million times and visited the immigration office with my fingers crossed each time!

So yeah..don't lose hope and all the best with your applications, everyone!

Hello everyone! This thread has made me feel at ease and nervous at the same time.

I just want to share to you my timeline.

Type of application: Spouse of Long Term Resident

October 31, 2022- Submitted our documents to Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau Utsunomiya Branch Office
November 23, 2022- They asked for additional documents and asked us to send it directly to Tokyo Main Branch
December 2, 2022- COE was approved
December 7, 2022- Received the actual COE

My company has sent COE documents to Shizuoka immigration office for nearly 10 weeks (from Oct 3, 2022) and still waiting (����﹏����)
