I submitted all documents on 2nd March 2022 and attented the interview July 19. And they visited my home on the same date.

I am waiting for the result till now 😭.

First of all, Congratulations who all are naturalized & all the best for who are waiting.

Is it a mandatory document of the Birth certificate of the wife even if I don't want to apply for naturalization as she is still not eligible at the moment?

The test is very simple, converting of hiragana into katakana and katakana into hiragana, and also writing some kanji words. Also, you will write a short topic using hiragana, katakana and some kanji words.
and that test paper you will read in front the officer to check your reading skill as well.

Yes, it is mandatory to submit your wife's birth certificate at the time of application, even though if she cannot apply with you at the same time.

I understood that we need to write the paragraph by ourselves, is it also mandatory write another paragraph in front of the officer? Another silly doubt is , do we write all those by seeing ?

the written test will be in front of the officer, and you will also read all the sentences in front of your case officer. the last part of the test has a short essay type for about 6 or 7 lines to write it in Japanese using some words of kanji with katakana and hiragana.
you don't need to worry about it if you know the elementary level kanji.
Just be positive and try to apply it. good luck

I am collecting the documents to prepare for application but not yet appeared to homyukyoku .
My concern is, there is only Intial letter of my Surname on my Date of Birth, graduation certificate.
However Full surname is written on the Passport. I would like to know if anyone have this situation ?
Can you guys give your opinion on it.
Although we do Notary on the copy of this certificates, but is it still required to have full surname?

You need to submit the documents with the correct name and all of your documents should contain your full name, even a small mistake like misspelling or even the English letters are not matching will not be accepted by legal affair bureau.
First you should change your name on all the certificates according to your passport name then after that you can submit the documents to the legal affair bureau. that will be very smooth for your application.
