Thanks for your suggestion, It looks good, as I am on budget, US$ 144 is expensive for me. As you said, I will try and go to Osaka city and I will keep looking for any hotels around and close to Osaka. Any other suggestions welcome - Thanks again.

if you are going into osaka i would contact the y.h.a at osaka shin easy walk fron the rail station it would be in the top ten of the world... jet star ? let us know what you think of them after you holiday

best bang for bucks is the 18-70 may I ask why you are looking at the D80 what will u be using it for ??
I have a D200 for day to day use and D40x for travel with a 18-70 the D80 is heavy to carry all day.Where are u?

Not rich enough to have 2 Nikons :-(, I will using it for day 2 day and for Travel. I thought D80 has some good feature of D200 ?. When you say 18-70mm, what exactly the model lense type etc. I live in Sydney.

As for Cameras, etc I buy all my stuff at Bic Camera and get 20% buyers credit off the price. Tourists can get Duty Free also. Yodobashi Camera is also good and beats a grey area agent like D&D Camera hand s down.
