COE processing times

Embassy has requested to submit the original COE for visa application.

Got my COE today.. SSW VISA
My agency applied it last February 16 2023, and they received it today April 18. So it took 62days of waiting. Goodluck everyone. Be patience. In GOD'S time you will receive yours. Godbless everyone.

business manager visa took me 7 months and 20 days place tokyo. applied by myself while i was in japan. They told me business manager visa normally takes 6 months

@Srv_ind, I currently have a Researcher visa. The Dependent visa is for my family who will come and stay with me.

Does anybody know how long does it take for the Dependent COE to be issued?

Can anybody tell me how much time does a professor visa (coe) to get processed?

@MNF I have Engineer Visa and i applied dependent Visa for my wife on 3rd March. I applied it Online , which is submitted to tokyo immigration based on my location.
It is still showing Under review. I don't know when will i receive it.

COE application filed: 29th Jan 2023

Branch: Tokyo Immigration Bureau

COE issued: 20th April 2023

Digital Copy received: Through agency mail on the same day 20th April 2023.

During the wait period, no additional document was request and on enquiry only response was to wait and under review.

This blog really helped me out to estimate the time for COE issue. But for Osaka and Yokohama branch it will be take more longer. Let's say 3.5-5 months. Since people who applied on dec at still waiting.

Be patent guys, peeps at Imm bureau are really doing their best to issue COE faster.

do you happen to know when it was submitted to immigration? I believe that can be found in the Coe.
Also could you tell us what category your employer company is in?

The fact that there's still two months worth of applications waiting to be issued blows my mind.

Any body guide me my wife apply COE for spouse Feb 22 2023 . No option that time for degital COE . She apply normal way now almost 58 days . How long it take more and is received by post because no put email there .thanks

@Itachi, how much time will it take for coe processing in sendai immigration. It is been almost 50 days. I applied for professor visa

I am still waiting for my business manager visa to be approved.
