COE processing times

Visa type applied : Dependent
My visa type : Engineer
Tokyo immigration office
Received: 10th March by email

When i applied there was not an option for email receiving. Later after application i requested to change the receiving of CoE to email instead of by post.

@Shiv_ind: Did your get your COE in 7 days ?? Can you confirm once, as I guess there is a tying error.

How did you check that your COE is aaproved?
My employer received a letter and they asked for schedules and picture.

Legal team informed my employer then my employer informed me and shared the soft copy of the COE

I've applied the visa extension on 20th March, and not receiving yet.
Is visa extension take shorter or longer than COE?

Work has applied to Tokyo Immigration office for COE on March 24th.
Visa type: working visa, engineer + dependant.
Still waiting for the response.

@sujan it seems that for work visas anywhere from 2 months to 5 months, they are still not done with visa applications from February it would seem judging by the thread.

It also depends on the immigration office where they submitted your documents, some are mor overwhelmed than others.

I applied a little under 3 months ago and received confirmation of my acceptance yesterday! Very excited, I start classes in July. To those who are waiting, keep being patient! Good things will come :)

expected acceptance/rejection date: May 12th, 2023
actual acceptance date: May 19th, 2023

@ARJ I am agree with you bro since 12 Dec 2022 until date of today no any additional documents asked from immigration and I am still waiting For COE
