I would like to thank Ian for his respect towards the Japanese culture. Being Australian, I get very embarassed when I see westerners direspecting and ignoring traditional Japanese customs.
Now onto my question...I will be getting married in Australian next year, and would like to know how to word an invitation to my Japanese *parents*? They are the parents of my closest friend and everytime I visit they treat me as though I am their daughter. I would like to send a very formal & respectful invitation to them.
If anyone knows the most appropriate wording for this type of invitation, I would very much appreciate your advice.
