@Wiivoo

Yeah I was at the Umeda Yodobashi as well at around 21:00 and no luck as I was hoping that they were available since a few people on this forum have said they have gotten theirs through this method. The workers there seem to waffle on and not actually tell you when it will be in stock :/ Also the boxes on the switch self you were referring were the pro controllers.

I shall try my luck again tomorrow morning when they open.

@Dean
Just showed up at 21:20, no pre-order.
Cashier told me they received a bunch in late afternoon that sold out, and a new shipment that had just arrived.
I hope there is still 1 left for you tomorrow morning!

Re: Buying Nintendo Switch in Tokyo 2017/5/20 09:55
My brother and I went to Yodobashi Umeda last night : Sold Out.

We went to Yodobashi Kyoto before opening this morning. As the store opened, people started running I followed them and we all came out empty handed as it was already sold out yesterday according to the seller.

Right after that we went to Bic Camera next to Kyoto station where they are still currently handing out some wristbands that guarantee you a switch at noon.
If you want one, I recommend you to run there right now as there is a lineup... I'm sure they'll run out of switch soon.

Just checked Yodobashi Umeda. Stil no luck.

It seems I will have to go to Kyoto to get the switch. Osaka is pathetic.

Re: Buying Nintendo Switch in Tokyo 2017/5/20 10:19
Joining the hunt, brothers. Shame I join late.
Been here for two weeks and leaving on Monday.
I've been searching passively-agressively for the switch. The closer I got was a mall in fukushima prefecture that didnt have the sold-out sticker, but was sold-out anyways.

Been a week ago on the Kyoto yodobashi and bic camera, and had no luck back at that time.

Now in Tokyo, hoping for a blaze of good luck before I leave. But really hard. On weekends, too many japanese with free time.

Just picked one up at Labi in Jiyugaoka for 29,800. I think they still had quite a few, nobody seemed to be in any real rush.
