Can we get raffle tickets from multiple different BIC Camera stores? Or do they only let you get one ticket per raffle day? Did anyone try to go to a couple of their stores in the hour slot last week?

Last time I got two, from two different stores. I didn't see anything posted prohibiting it, and I'm fairly competent reading Japanese, but I could be wrong.

Any news on the Yodobashi store, is there a line? I know that they will start selling it at 3 pm, but probably there are people already there waiting, no?

Was at Akiba Yodobashi the whole afternoon. Staff came around at 3pm when there were many people loitering but just said today there is no stock. I waited around till about 6pm but there is still no updates so i left. I suppose really no restock today.

A side note, there is a small shop opposite biccam akiba selling switch at 44800 so i passed.

On the other hand, dropped by shinjuku west yodobashi around 8pm. There is a note there saying there was a restock today but there were people queuing before store opens. All restock were snapped up when the store opened at around 10am

Leaving japan tomorrow. Luck not on my side. Will wait and see.

Is it possible to reserve a switch? I'm visiting Osaka and Kyoto mid June so could anyone please tell me the locations to buy a switch at Osaka and Kyoto?

When to akiba, yodabashi in akihabara and several shops in the area and nothing... sold out everywhere... I'm guessing I'll leave Japan without a switch... Do anyone have any leads? Restock hours or somewhere we might find it?

I recommend you to stick with Bic Camera and Sofmap lottery, I won it in Osaka the third try two weeks ago, the lottery happens every weekend in the morning, just bring many friends as possible since it's just one ticket per person.

Re: Buying Nintendo Switch in Tokyo 2017/6/21 22:45
ok so its (almost) impossible to find it in stock just at a store for the basic 32000yen price. however, bic camera is doing a lottery this sunday at all stores in japan the link is http://www.biccamera.co.jp/shopguide/news/nintendo_switch/index.html
there are also net lotteries and one going on now for the splattoon bundle switch on Edion app
another way is waiting for the Mynintendo store restocks which happen randomly-ish. But it sells out in about 10 minutes. I'm not sure how people are that fast on grabbing it lol, must be on the website constantly. Info on that here:
http://switchsoku.com/switch/7427
good luck guys :( hopefully i can get mine!
