Fukuoka Prefecture (•Ÿ‰ªŒ§, Fukuoka-ken) is by far the most populous prefecture on the island of Kyushu, and home to the island's two largest cities, Fukuoka and Kitakyushu. One of its most famous tourist attractions is Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Dazaifu.
