Flights Osaka to Ishigaki July 2013

What is the cheapest way, flights seem to be expensive. I am uk resident. ANA seem to fly direct but their web site doesn't allow booking that far ahead yet need to make arrangements soon

Ishigaki gets a new airport in two weeks from now. It is expected that at least two new airlines will start flying to Ishigaki afterwards.

Of particular interest to you should be Peach, which starts operating on the Osaka-Ishigaki route from March 31. Fares will be way below the ones currently offered by JAL and ANA (from around 8000 yen one way in early July, increasing to around 13,000 yen in late July when the school holidays start):

A final alternative is to consider flying via Naha. The fares on the Osaka-Naha route are very lowe thanks to competition. Peach, Jetstar and Skymark have particularly low fares.
