http://www.navitime.co.jp/diagram/00032094_00009600_t4 The timetable is of another bus stop, but I was not aware that this website had timetables of Nara Kotsu bus....
There are 3 bus stops for Todaiji Temple around a crossroad.
It takes about 5 minutes or less to run between Kintetsu-Nara Eki bus stop and each of the 3 bus stops. Each of them is used by buses running in one direction.
Here I describe them with a + sign indicating the crossroad.
Kintetsu-Nara Eki bus stop is to the west of the crossroad, i.e. to the left of the + sign.
Todaiji Temple is to the north of the crossroad, i.e. above the + sign.
[On the way to Todaiji: Bus Line No. 2]

At the bottom of the + sign is Daibutsuden Kasuga-Taisha-mae bus stop.
You can walk to the north and reach Nandaimon Gate of Todaiji Temple in 10 minutes or so.
[On the way to Todaiji: Bus Line No. 70]
Roughly two buses are available per hour (except in early and late hours).
Buses on Line No. 70 run straight through this crossroad.
At the right end of the + sign is Todaiji Daibutsuden bus stop.
(These buses continue on the line to a stop near Kasuga Taisha Shrine Main Hall.)
[On the way back from Todaiji: Bus Lines Nos. 1 and 70]
Buses use Todaiji Daibutsuden & Kokurirtsu Hakubutsukan bus stop at the left end of the + sign.
