where can i see sakura? 2013/3/23 16:13
i am so wondering about my sakura trip. i wil stay in japan 2-9 april 2013 and hope to see sakura very much.So my plan to kawaguchiko on 3 april & nikko on 5 april , others i stay in tokyo.
My question is , Will i see full bloom sakura? i have to change plan? Can you recommend place to see full bloom on that day?

Nobody can pinpoint the date and location for you. You may have a chance in Kawaguchiko and Nikko but hard to tell for sure.

Sakura is already at full blooms in Tokyo today, and won't last more than a week. So you have to travel out somewhere. You should plan it upon the arrivanl to Japan.

How about a JR East pass (can be bought when you get here) and take the train north.
Kitakami, Miharu, Kakunodate, Hirosaki all have beautiful sakura and are on or very near to the Shinkansen lines.
