Visa for entry of hotel in Narita airport? 2013/3/25 14:58
I will have a long, overnight transit (17 hours) at Narita airport this May. I'm looking forward to booking a hotel room in or near the airport to rest for the night, but as far as I did some researches, they say that I need to go through immigration to be able to stay at the hotel.
I'm Vietnamese and I don't have a Japanese visa, so do I need a visa in order to go through immigration to get in the hotel inside the airport?
Any information would be helpful, thank you in advance.

You should contact your local Japanese consulate or embassy before your trip. Japan is under no requirement or obligation to hand out a shore pass. On paper it looks OK, but the Japanese government has been getting a lot stricter lately.
