Spending time in Osaka 2013/4/7 00:32
I intend to be in Osaka for two days I wonder if to spend the whole time in Osaka or to dedicate a day or half a day to Koya ? My main interest are nature and unique architecture.BTW I will be also in Kyoto as well .Thanks

I would buy an Osaka Unlimited 1-Day pass and have a look around town. http://www.osaka-info.jp/osp/en/

Some sights that might interest you:
Osaka Castle
Umeda Floating Garden
Namba Parks
Tsutenkaku Tower
Namba Hips Building
Osaka Kaiyukan Aquarium

Osaka is a major metropolis: not really a nature place.
But it is great for food, bright lights, hustle and bustle, and shopping. We love Osaka.
Mt Koya is unique: the journey there is beautiful, the temples are wonderful, Okunoin is ethereal, and it is an experience well worth contemplating.
If you can at least do a day trip to Mt Kpya then definitely consider it: the World Heritage Pass is worthwhile.
Enjoy!!
