Hi, I was considering purchasing the Kansai 3 day Thru Pass but then I read somewhere that for the Spring Season, it is only valid until early May? Is this true? I have booked for accommodation in Koyasan for the night of 14/5/13 and it would be most convenient if I could use it...

The Kansai Thru Pass has no blackout dates! It can be used on any date. You must be confusing the Kansai Thru Pass with the Kansai Version of the Surutto Kansai Ticket.
