Will there be any direct train which need not go via Sapporo and faster to reach ?

No, until the year 2035 there will be no direct train. That is when the Hokkaido Shinkansen is scheduled to be extended via Otaru to Sapporo.

It is also generally faster to travel via Sapporo. But I think there are a couple of connections per day via the Hakodate Line (with a transfer at Oshamambe) that are as fast as the connections via Sapporo, but cheaper. The section between Osahmambe and Otaru will be by local train, though, instead of the comfortable limited express train:
