JR Pass reccomendations?

hi. we will arrive tokyo on the 27th of september. we will leave tokyo on the 1st of october. and the planned route is tokyo hakone- hiroshima- then to kyoto- osaka - takayama - toyama- alpine route to omachi- omachi nagano- to yudanaka and back to nagano - back to tokyo on the 14 th of october.
what jr pass should we buy the 7 or 14 days?
should we buy the green pass? is it that better (we will travel with 2 year pld doughter).
can we make seat reservations on the web ( after we purchase the tickets)?
where is the cheapest and reccomended place to purchase the tickets on the web?
