Which station is the closest to Ghibli Museum? Or are they the same distance from the museum? Mitaka or Kichijoji

The distance is identical. About 1.3 kilometers. From Kichijoji, you can walk through Inokashira Park to get there which is more attractive than the walk from Mikata Station. The bus departs from Mikata Station.

I have to agree with Uji. I arrived to Ghibli via Hachioji and left via Mitaks. The park was much more rewarding. I helped a father take a photo of his whole family with him in the photo instead of he just taking a photo of his wife and kids. They were appreciative. The park is quite nice and peaceful.
